HOD Desk
"Science means restless efforts and continually progressing development towards an aim. Learning of technical knowledge is not possible without the strong base of science."
The department was established in 2010 with two undergraduate programmes B.Sc. ZBC and B.Sc. PCM. Later on two more courses B.Sc. PSM and M.Sc. Mathematics were added in 2011. In 2012 the department started master's degree in Zoology, Botany, Chemistry and Physics. Three more courses i.e. B.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Sc. Biotechnology and M.Sc. Microbiology were started by the department in the year 2013.
The department is highly devoted to creating the most supportive and academically interesting environment for the students. It helps the students in developing their competitiveness through value education and scientific ideas. A very friendly and pleasant atmosphere exists for nurturing a healthy teacher-student relationship.
The academic programs of this department are organized to meet the requirements of fast growing technology. All the laboratories for Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and Microbiology are set up with all the essential equipment and internet facility.
As head of the department, I see our mission as providing the best education in the understanding of science. I invite you all to visit our web pages. If you don't find what you're looking for, please feel free to contact me. I will do my best to help you.
